How a configurator is written
A configurator is a C# class library with one model class. The Phenome tool builds it, runs it and reports the model's whole state, and a VS Code window shows the tree, the parameters and a 3D view. Parameters marked as published are exported as a schema for the customer-facing UI, which is in development. The tools have 136 tests, and the libraries they are built on have another 132.
Quick prototypes are sketched in Grasshopper, with an AI agent working on the same live canvas as the engineer.
Geometry in the browser
A NURBS solid modelling library compiled to WebAssembly takes 1.1 to 1.4 MB compressed and computes a boolean test model in the browser in about 0.3 s (measured on 19 October 2026); the geometry kernel runs in the browser as well.
Demonstrator: an Odoo 19 order with six files
The demonstrator takes a frozen configuration and creates a confirmed sales order in Odoo 19. The order carries six files:
- a PDF quote,
- a production PDF,
- a cut list in CSV,
- a worktop drawing in SVG,
- production data in JSON,
- the configuration in JSON.
Importing the same configuration again does not create a second order. The demonstrator is not a customer deployment.
In development
A generator service will store a frozen configuration with its price on the server.
The customer-facing configurator UI is built from the schema of published parameters and will embed in a web page and in an online shop.
The agent kit is meant to let any AI agent, a coding agent or a chat assistant, build configurators. Their code will go through the same verification as hand-written code.
